A morning at the Namdaemun flower market

Last Saturday was a perfect morning to get out of bed early and head to the Namdaemun Flower Market. We got there by 7:30 am and most of the flowers had been picked through by the florists and business owners who had come before us.

Namdaemun flower market is right in the heart of Seoul. You can buy flowers at a really low price because they are sold wholesale! Definitely head there the next time you are in need of some flowers or if you want to practice your flower arranging skills for a loved one. There was also a lovely store that sold plants and pots!

Hours: Monday to Thursday 3 am- 3 pm

Friday and Saturday: 3 am – 4 pm

  1. Hi Johanna, just wanted to let you know how much I’m enjoying your recent posts capturing the day to day of life in Seoul! 🙂 I love seeing the city this way and it feels so personal, I wished the Internet had more of this!
